REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS
Dr. Eniayewun’s tenure as PS HSC has been very unique. His appointment was timely, with his knowledge, wisdom, and skills being very instrumental in the progress made in the health sector as a whole over the last five years. He fully exemplifies the definition of a transformational leader with a “Can-Do attitude. He was always raising the bar and achieving goals through strategy, innovation, and motivation. It has been an exciting experience to witness what he has achieved, and sustainability is key as he retires. He does so, leaving behind a very strong legacy, which will not be easily surpassed. The Lagos State Healthcare system is blessed to have had him. Dr. Benjamin Ademuyiwa Eniayewun is surely blessed, and he will be continually blessed, as he has blessed many lives in fulfillment of the destiny God designed for him.
Dr. Eniayewun is a visionary leader who has changed the landscape of public healthcare services particularly and the Lagos State Public Service in general. He has revolutionized the secondary healthcare system by revamping the leadership selection process, attitudinal shift in the leadership style itself, and also improving the welfare of all HSC staff in general. He created a knowledge-driven and quality-focused leadership style in the General Hospitals that was the basis of the positive changes seen across the board in the public hospitals. His wisdom is undeniable, his intelligence profound, and his ability to spot viable leaders is impeccable. He showed an unquestionable love for staff welfare while promoting the running of General Hospitals to compete with the best in the private sector in spite of their limitations.
Dr. Benjamin Ademuyiwa Eniayewun is an enigma of a personality. An exceptional visionary and transformational leader. He has a unique understanding of the operations of the healthcare industry. His solutions are indigenous and ingenious but idiosyncratic. His experiences are indispensable. Embracing them or borrowing from them is the beginning of wisdom. If he decides to write a book on leadership in the healthcare space, it will be a bestseller and textbook for all future healthcare leaders in Africa. As you retire from the civil service. I doff my hat for you. We all are students and beneficiaries of your wealth of wisdom. This has been reflected in your almost crisis-free tenure. Congratulations to a man of great foresight and pragmatism.
A jolly good brother and friend met in his days as Medical Director of Amuwo Odofin MCC and had since maintained a strong covalent bond to date. A cool, unassuming young man, easy-going, soft-spoken, disciplined, with a knack for excellence. He has stylishly transformed Lagos State general hospitals with the introduction of the hospital transformation initiative (HSTI), ably headed by his bosom friend “AJEPE AYE BABA”- Dr. Olayinka Otepola.
He has helped to improve the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of most hospitals indirectly by his paternalistic approach to conflict resolution in our different hospitals, combining accommodation strategy, collaboration strategy, negotiation, and mediation, either singly or jointly, to create a warm and friendly atmosphere leading to adequate collaboration amongst personnel, improving the quality of healthcare delivery, patient satisfaction, and increased IGR.
His model of training and retraining of health personnel, adequate recruitment of needed manpower and prompt replacement of exits have changed the face of healthcare delivery in Lagos State. The routine quarterly MDs’ forum has been a great source of learning, interaction, and bonding amongst medical directors. Dr. Eniayewun will surely be leaving behind a big vacuum with his exit. Kudos to our own quintessential, amiable, charming young man. May you live long enough to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Dr. Eniaiyewun is an inspiring leader. He is calm, leads by example, and gives honest and constructive feedback that truly helps you grow. It is my privilege and honour to work with him, and I wish him the very best now and always.
Dr. Benjamin Eniayewun is a unique leader with his eyes always set on the prize and his mind on achieving his goals, not minding whatever he has to go through to get to it. He is a highly result-oriented, driven, and goal-focused leader who inspires and pushes others around him to go beyond mediocrity and excuses. His motivational and persuasive nature has created many leaders around him, making others believe in themselves and their abilities to be solution providers.

He is a dynamic leader who believes in everyone succeeding together for the system to succeed.
