I have been at the forefront of health system strengthening in Lagos State, leading to the transformation of general hospitals with some becoming multispecialist/tertiary training centers at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

I was deeply involved in the COVID-19 response especially in the training and deployment of over 2,000 healthcare workers across Lagos State and coordinating the deployment into the various isolation centers and intensive care units in the state.

I’ve also engaged in developing and implementing mitigating/coping strategies to the JAPA phenomenon (high turnover/migration of healthcare workers) to greener pastures, delivering growth, with no loss in the quality of healthcare service delivery in the state’s general hospitals.

Transfoming is a study in strategic management and transformational leadership. It recounts the processes and innovations that delivered transformation, one general hospital at a time until the healthcare landscape of the state changed and keeps changing beyond recognition.
